Just did a Gap delivery pizza job. The kids are munching on it as I type, LOL!

However, for my Side order, I asked for chicken goujons (or chicken strips whatever they call them now), but have been charged for, and received, BBQ wings. If this wasn't a MS I'd ring and complain and ask for a refund - should I do so anyway do you think? I'll obviously mention in my report that they sent the wrong item ...

I've also just noticed that although the till time on the receipt says 16:59 , under the "Delivery" section on the receipt it says "Order placed 5.22pm" and "promised by 6pm" .. effectively giving them more than 20 minutes longer to get it here than said! Cheeky !!!!!!s!

Hmm not sure whether you should ask for a refund or not. My initial instinct was to say yes, but you know what Gap are like, they might withhold payment if they find out. Perhaps best just to eat the wings and note it in your report.

Is it a good pizza? Have never had delivery from them yet.

Hi all. My first post after becoming a mystery shopper on Thursday! I've already had 2 jobs today, so very excited!

I've printed off the relevant forms from HMRC to register as self employed. It asks me for a company name. Do I need to put this? Can I make one up?

Also a Business Address. Can I leave this blank. A little bit concerned because I rent, so it doesn't have business insurance etc. Is this OK?

Sorry if these answers seem obvious, but I would like to make sure everything is tickety boo!!!
You won't need business insurance, as you will not be having any business visitors to your home. You do not need a company name I think.

I just used my own real name as the company name, I couldn't think of anything witty like "spys R me" or "MMM" (mysterious mesmerising mharzuk) at the time....:D
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

I had the wrong thing delivered once; I phoned and they sent the correct item out to me and picked up the wrong one. I didn't ask for a refund, just to be provided with the correct item. When I called them I could hear the person who took my order saying to the person on the phone that I was wrong and had not ordered the item I said I had! Still it got sorted in the end and I noted it down in the comments box.

Has anyone done an RE betting shop this weekend and had a problem with the scenario?

Can you PM me if so?

    Cheers.

    Hi all,

I've had a lovely day today, in contrast to last week lol. Got four jobs done quick as anything this morning then had an hours wait for the time to do the last one. I felt that I just had to visit a fave coffee shop for a huge mocha and huge date and ginger cookie :D. Then I had the urge to raid lakeland :o and then onto a really nice old fashioned sweet shop - where I had another urge to indulge in 1lb of liquorice comfits and 1lb of old fashioned proper milk bottles :o. So all my hard earned fees from today are well and truely spent already :p. But I did enjoy it :D.

Am only new to MSing, but a phrase that seems to pop up constantly is 'car circuits'. What are theses exactly, and how well paid are they? Do you get them from a specific MSer?

I do this as well, just ask for the correct item and note it in the questionnaire. I do the same in the golden arches too when I get manky fries - just politely ask them for hot ones & note it down. Mind you, I am not saying this the thing to do with golden arches because it does say don't complain!! (I don't, I politely request) It's just what I do. AFAIC if I have to pay part of the cost of the food, I'm entitled to have it fresh.
