The Mystery Shopping thread - IX

I do however now have a question about the exception from NI class 2 contributions form now. Question 15 asks if you work for one or more employers please give the estimates for the year beginning 6th April 2009. Is that just self employed or does that include my day job as well?
I only ask because my I remember my dad filling in a box for the taxman incorrectly and it being a major issue for ages! I don't want to get on the wrong side of said man!
I had to ring them and ask about this, because it was not at all clear and I was told it was only from your self-employed income (i.e. your mystery shopping and any other self-employed work you may do) and not to include your day job.
Further to other comments about making a loss or indeed a very small profit, that's fine. So, for your estimate of self-employed income, you may well put something like £50 or whatever your net profit is, not your overall payments and reimbursements etc.0 -

Can anyone confirm that if you meet a friend outside while doing a shop and he accompanies you inside but does not interfere in your work, is this a sackable offence at GAP if the job was to be done alone.
I met a friend outside the store where I had to do the MS and as I just had another 15 minutes to go before the MS window finished, I didn't have any time to explain anything to him. As the store was not at all busy at that time, I may have been identified by the client
And if they do sack me, will they still pay me for the previous shops that I did successfully
Thanks

Not sure about them paying you for other jobs, they should do and if they didn't I would try and fight it. Hope everything works out OK for you.0 -

I just done a takeaway delivery visit for gap.
I ordered the items stated on the paperwork.
I was offered a meal deal and accepted, it would look odd not to as it was the same items for £1 less.
Will they pay me for this? It asks on the questionnaire if i got a meal deal.
Anyone know please?0 -

Just explain what happened. The items they ask you to order are part of a meal deal and this always happens to me. I do click the box no I did not order a meal deal as technically I didn`t request that in the first place but was informed that it was a meal deal by thr assistant.0 -
I think someone previously did find that Gap wouldn't pay them for a burger job, when they met a neighbour on the way in, so sat with them (like any ordinary person would). I think the store must have reported them for it.

That'll be drinks all round then - lolI'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box - :rolleyes:0 -
hmmm, maybe with the places RE are sending us too that will only cover a drink each - at a stretch! But as you 2 were the first to jump in I guess its one for each of us! ooh ... but if we combine it with an RE visit, we could get expenses to cover one more person - yay!Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0

Oh - I have a couple of questions for anyone who doesn't mind:
1: what does "HTH" mean? I see it a lot on here.
2: does anyone have the link for REACT? And for those of you who have used it, is it good - I've not come across it before.Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0
