Hiya
My report in terms of Gap questionaire was good. ie. timings were good, clean and spotless toilets, friendly staff. It is just I was probably recognised as a mystery shopper because I asked for a receipt as per the brief.
I've done another branch of a burger place as well, where I have been ID by the staff because of that dastard receipt and not allowed to take any more assignments for that particular location. It was a good report as well.
I can see where they are coming from. It is no good if the staff can spot me a mile away for the next time. I can still apply for other locations though. So I'll lie low for a while. The burgers are giving me indigestion anyhoo. :rotfl:
If being identified as a mystery shopper is such a terrible thing, then they shouldn't insist that you get a receipt when it's so out of the ordinary!
My other suggestion is that we tell all our friends to ALWAYS ask for a receipt in these places, and that way...
1) they, too, can enjoy the floor show, and
2) there will be so many people asking for receipts that they won't know which is the real MSer.0 -
Ok, so I just got back from my first government establishment job with GFK. I remember people we were wondering whether they were worth it a few pages back and whether they were difficult.
Well I was a bit nervous because of this, but it was actually easy peasy! Because you can get your notebook and querstionnaire out and you absolutely have to make notes, there is not much to remember and you can just follow the order of the questionnaire. It only took about 15 - 20 mins and the pay is generous for it. (I think). Have another one to do tomorrow and am really looking forward to it! It was that good.
[It was also fun to see people's faces as I went round with my notepad looking for things, trying out equipment and making notes ... I think they thought I was an inspector! hee hee]Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -

Very much a matter of opinion. No harm in signing up to as many as you can and then you will find out which ones you get most work from.
Retail Eyes, GFK, Abai and TNS will get you started. with plenty of work to begin with.
Good luck to you.0 -
