Hi, thanks for the alert i was going to pick one of these up till i noticed that, think the last upload of these recently were the same, also quite specific Sat-Sun only...
Oh darn I just realised it's not a fee it's a reimbursement! I think I'll keep it for a while; the mileage covers a little bit and I should be able to pick up another job on the same day in the area.
edit - also just noticed it has to be completed between 4 and 7 even though it's only open until 5:30 on Sat and 4:30 on Sunday. A bit specific much!0 -
I'm not sure if there is no fee - the reinbursement is a lot more than the cost of a drink. If they pay you the full reimbursement regardless of how much you spend, (which is what it sounds like) there is effectively a fee.Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0

I've been thinking about the whole 'having to pay for stuff then waiting to get paid for it' thing, and I was planning at some point to make a kind of MS 'float' for myself. Paying by card seems to be better for MSing (if only because you automatically get a receipt), but I never seem, to have enough cash in the bank to do much.
I've had a look on Quidco and you can get a Pre Paid credit card on there (with £5 Quidco cash back), which you can load up at PayPoints etc. It seems like it could be the way to go for me, as it keeps my MS money totally seperate from my bills money.
Has anyone else used one of these?
EDIT - Just had another look - they cost a tenner, and if you pay as you go there is a purchasing fee too! Scrap that idea then!!Total Debt January 2014 £10,725.44

I don't have a credit card and I don't think I can borrow money from anyone - I can ask but the one person who might be a possibility I probably won't see her until after the store closes.
It just kind of strikes you suddenly how depressing it is when you can't afford to do the thing that is going to make you some more money!
On top of that, the sandwich was supposed to be my lunch, so now I'm really hungry and am going to have to dip into my nectar points!
I know, I've seen that icon before and wasn't sure what it was!
Life just sucks sometimes!!! Hope you manage to get some more jobs to help out, its just rotten we have to use our own money at the start but i can see why. That hug was very raunchy looking Lisa!!!.xx:eek::money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life:A

The jobs ok as staff get these sorts of questions all the time. You then reveal yourself and they have always been very pleasant. It is simple from then on as you can read your own hand written notes to remind you of what to do (you musn't let staff see the brief or questionaire - apart from the pages they have to sign, so I have a small notebook as well).
I have been lucky in that I have never ( in 5 years of doing these) had to wait longer than 10 minutes to talk to anyone so the jobs have been relatively quick. It's easy to find the leaflets and posters as once you are revealed you can look for them openly.
Make sure you write down exactly what the staff member says. I usually read it back to them so they agree with the comments you have made. That way, should there be any disagreement, you will feel confident you have explained things exactly as they occurred. I have only had one assigment queried and because of my detail I was able to confirm exactly what had been said.
The online data input is easy so I would say go for it!
Thanks for the useful info. The notebook is a great idea, at least I won`t have to keep going to the loo to scribble things on bits of paper. I am gonna to accept one and see how it goes.0 -

I had a second current account spare from when I started uni and opened my shiney new student account, which I now have all my ms money paid in to, as soon as I get paid I put the reimbursements back in to my day to day current account, then work out the profit once a month and shift the rest in to my savings account -generally leaves me a reasonable float for any unexpected purchase jobs and means the amount I'm going to end up paying tax on is kept to one side. Recently opened an A&L account for the bonus and once that gets paid plan to make that my MS account using that to make all my payments and shift any money from fees in to the linked savings account (stops me spending it before the taxman gets his cut next year too). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

That's not a bad idea. Might make that my job for the weekend - trying to find a good deal on a new account!
