I know how you're feeling. There's loads of really nice meal jobs on RE which I can't do as I can't justify being out of pocket for the month or so it takes to get the refund. I try to limit myself to only 3 'spend' job per month, but it means I miss out on a LOT of good jobs.
I almost accepted a couple of catalogue jobs last month too, without thinking, then realised I wouldn't have enough money in my account to cover the purchases.
Every £3 fee I get is another £3 I won't be paying interest on any more, so all the MSing is helping me get where I want to be a little bit quicker than I would be otherwise.
My DFD is snowballed for 2018, but I'm determined to get there by 2015, if not before :A

Is there anyone at work (if you're at work today) or a friend who you can borrow a few pounds off?lisainglasgow wrote: »Aww you poor thing! :grouphug: Here's a hug to cheer you up a bit. Can you borrow money off someone - £5 till next week?Awww no... what about using a credit card....
Thanks for all your kind words.
I don't have a credit card and I don't think I can borrow money from anyone - I can ask but the one person who might be a possibility I probably won't see her until after the store closes.
It just kind of strikes you suddenly how depressing it is when you can't afford to do the thing that is going to make you some more money!
On top of that, the sandwich was supposed to be my lunch, so now I'm really hungry and am going to have to dip into my nectar points!:rotfl::rotfl:Glad you said here's a hug, was wondering what was going there... :rotfl::rotfl:
I know, I've seen that icon before and wasn't sure what it was!Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -
I'm in the same situation but fortunately I have a credit card. Not great as I don't have any physical cash, but I'm hoping that grass roots will pay me soon.
I think I'm going to go down the route of having one specific bank account for everything MS and using it more as savings.0 -
Anyone pick up any of the new jobs on TNS I just posted on the Alerts thread? I've just noticed there doesn't seem to be a fee!??!0
