I too thought it was going to take forever to search, but after doing it twice, you get to know where the assignment locations are that suit you so it only takes a couple of seconds, even though I have about 15 location names that suit me (but you can only select up to 10).
There is also a "save search" button on the right, so in theory you only need to search once in the labourious manner and then choose your "saved search" forever after that, but I haven't as yet been able to get it to work ...
First search for 10 "suburbs" which interest you, making sure you are in all clients, not just one. When you click through to the list of jobs right click in the address bar and copy the text from http:// etc etc to pageIndex=0. Paste it into a word processor or similar.
Now go back to the list of suburbs, and noting exact capitals you can add any to the link you copied, separating each one with a comma, and replacing any spaces with %20. Don't leave a space before or after the commas. Don't forget to check all the 12 High Streets etc to see if they are actually near you!
When you have all the suburbs you want you can copy the whole link and paste it back into the address bar. You should now see a list of all the jobs in the suburbs you are interested in. Save this to favourites/bookmark it.
I still search by client and/or location occasionally but this is a quick way to see all the jobs without fiddling. When I come across new suburbs I'm interested in I add them to my saved link. The link only works once you are logged into Gap, so first log in then click this new bookmark to see all the jobs.
PM if this doesn't make sense and I'll try to talk you through it, or send you an example.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
I just tried inputting the details but one of the questions asks if I received any more responses within the 10 days so I guess I have to wait. Thanks for your help though
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Gap. I failed my fast food tests so I don't have experience of those but what I've read from other people is that they really try to satisfy the client so that is why they are questioning you. It must be frustrating as your timings are correct and it really isn't that long to wait, in my opinion, but I guess they want to appear as if they are hitting whatever bonus targets they need. I hope you get it resolved.0 -

I did my local red store today-was a horrible report to write as the staff on the "help" desk obviously think it means "don't help customers who come and interupt your chatting" fortunately after been sent to totally the wrong aisle I found someone incredibly nice and helpful so at least it wasn't all bad and I could put some positives in the report.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Hi, i've signed up with GAP but dont really use them much as i find the website very difficult to use. You can search by Suburb but the Suburbs look like they are based on assignment location, but thiis means you have to scroll through very randon places keeping an eye out for places near me........ Am i missing a trick? Can you search by location? i.e within X miles of a post code? Something to make it a little easier to find jobs? Any help appreciated!! Thanks, Matt
I was told how to do this some time ago and you should log in to Gap as usual then bookmark this link it shows all of the jobs available. I then pick and choose and save the searches. Very long winded but I have often found ones I never knew existed. I also jump pages so I can go straight to the ones I am interested in!........passes the time anyway.lol

They asked me to confirm my timings, confirm that I was on my phone the whole time and confirm that the tables were dirty, etc.
I had of course read peoples' posts on here about queries, but I didn't realise how accusatory the queries feel when they come!
My timings were correct; I didn't think that 1 min 40 secs was very long to wait in a queue, order and receive you food - but I guess they do! The fries were lukewarm (not my fault!), the tables were dirty and a server walked past with a cloth in her hand but didn't wipe any dirt - just passed her hand over the edges of the table that was shoulder height while she daydreamed along and scowled at everyone! How is it my fault that they ask us to truthfully report whether the joint is performing up to standard or not? If they want us to just say "yes - everything was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were paragons of delight and efficiency" then why hire an MS company?!
Also, I was on my phone - writing the timings down and making notes. I was still paying good attention to everything and doing the shop properly, but they make you feel like you weren't.I hope they still pay me, cos I was telling the truth and did the job just as well as any other I've done.
I got one like that! It wanted me to confirm various timings and stuff.
Then when I got my sheets out my folder, I knocked a glass of water over them and some of the ink smudged so I couldn't read some of it.
I sent an apology explaining what I'd done, and confirming the bits I could read and guessing on the rest. I was dead worried how they would react to me not being able to confirm everything.
I got a jokey email back saying thanks and to be more careful with glasses of water in future. Total contrast from the inital email and clearly written by a nice person. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Reminded me of when I did a chicken job and put the receipt in the carrier bag with my bucket...it soaked up all the grease and was totally illegible. As I`d paid out quite a few £`s I was in a right old panic so I scanned it as it was (a blob) with an explanation and did get paid.0 -
I am doing my first supermarket for T N S today, I have done the fast ones before but they are quite different.
I can't really work out just how much I have to do. I realise that there are only 2/3 depts that I have to ask questions, etc, in but I don't know if I have to go to all others and assess them too.
Also, it is not clear whether you always have to check the CS desk / notice board.
Can anyone give me some pointers.
Would really appreciate it.1373/100000
