Me either. I have given up.
On a different note, last month I had lots of jobs, not the same this months, I have 2 left for the month. Why is it when you find something good to do, it changes so quick. Ah well, I will have to see what else there is out there. It is absolutely DEAD at the mo.

    Hey all,

I'm relativly new at this game. Being based in London I'd of thought that there would be quite a bit of MS to be done. Now I'm getting the GAP burger and Pizza options but not a lot else. Does anyone have any tips on getting a little bit more, maybe juicier pieces of work? Not neccesarily about the fee, but more the "quality" of the work??

    Thanks in advance

    Matt

Take all you can get for the first month or two even if you may be out of pocket on expenses.

Take time over your first reports and make sure they are top quality.

Then the better jobs will come to you.

I'm in London too - there's actually loads of jobs.

GAP for example has given me about 25 jobs so far this month mostly burgers and phone companies, but also underground sandwiches and my first pizza tomorrow. Although the money isn't amazing, the sheer volume of jobs quickly adds up and for me its worth. And being in London, there are hundreds of outlets of the companies that they deal with so always more than enough to do.

GFK offers higher fees, but doesn't have as many jobs as Gap does. However, they are usually 2-3 times more in fees than GAP for much the similar work, although there is no eating involved (!) - mostly various banks, 3 different types of government or affiliated organisations and also phones. Interestingly, the phone jobs are the same briefs (roughly) as GAP, but you get paid 3 x more! Different company as well. I really like what I've done with them.

Grassroots I have done 2 jobs for - they pay well and the shops are comparable to GFK, but their results entering is not as straight-forward and thet don't have many jobs coming up. Worthwhile being on their books though as when they do come, they're pretty good.

RE always have loads and loads of London jobs! And as far as I've seen, they upload them frequently, so thats god. I myself have my first job with them tomorrow, which is frustrating because I have seen plenty of visits in London that I could have done if I wasn't on probation. Don't know if it will always be like that though.

Being in London myself, these are my main ones. I'm signed in with lots of others, but these are the only ones that have had suitable jobs for me so far.
Hope that helps - good luck!

I've given up on BARE too - almost a month and I don't get anything I apply for. Also, I had jobs that were still pending on their final date, so obviously they hadn't been given to anyone else and still needed doing - I tried calling them numerous times and couldn't get through so the jobs just went undone. It's infuriating!
Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x

    help ma boab

(not Scottish but addicted to Oor Wullie and The Broons) :D

Then do what I do slip in a few phrases into your reports to liven things up.

"Jings I had to wait 2 mins 20 secs in the queue."

"I was fair scunnered to see the dust on the counter."

No one ever questions it, as long as you do it sparingly and it livens up the day. I've never tried a "help ma boab" but now you've put it in my mind....................
