  • Today I did my first shop for GR - pretty good, no problems.

But OMIGOD their questionnaire is so damned difficult!! How can they ask you a question, stipulate that you need to reply in detail and make sure you explain point 1, 2 and 3, but then only allow you to write about 10 words??!! When you have to write in full sentences, this means editing it down to the briefest of briefest phrases and not really saying much of what you want to say or what they want to hear. So frustrating - it took 3 or 4 times longer than the actual assignment!
Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x

The reason everyone was getting irate is that we were all under the impression you couldn't even work out how to find the client registration pages even though it has been mentioned at least 5-10 times in the last week or so. If you could be a little more specific with the problem you are having and it isn't one thats been answered as recently as yesterday, I'm sure these lovely people will be more than happy to help. :)

"we were all under the impression" oh please.

Look here is my original post in (response to Matt's question)

"If you find out how to do it could you post the answer here or PM me please, because I can't work it out either. Many thanks."

Do you want me to be more specific than that? More polite than that? Where is the problem ?

Now go and have a look at the responses that polite request attracted from the "lovely people"

Problem was I didn't take their comments sitting down and that seems to have annoyed a little clique. Tough.
Bite me and I bite back.

Not very friendly UK.. Monkey:rolleyes: everyone starts somewhere! your reply could put members off if they are new to the forum or just want help?
Most MSE members are worried that if they post they will be shouted down because they haven't gone through the 199 -599 post's on here, in no order may I add!! not one thing on this thread is in order ! its just one long muddled thread with swine flu, birthdays etc..if you put anything in search on MSE, you might get an answer but very rarely do you get directed to what you need help on. you have more chance with Google and thats saying something!!..help on MSE? ..a thing of the past..polite on MSE..no chance!

Being a nice Guy/Girl you could have said

I've said this more than once before, certain regular posters (not naming anybody, and not referring to any one person in particular, there is more than one person) on this forum are regularly unnecessarily rude, and it does bug me because I do worry about how new posters might feel. I make an effort (especially more recently) to be polite and courteous, even if I'm disagreeing with somebody. Sorry if that seems to be targeted at you monkey - it isn't, it refers to others too.

I know people are always asking about ABAi, but you can't really expect everyone to read through the whole thread. And the search function isn't really that useful either.

I am new to this thread and whenever I ask a question have found everybody to be really helpful and kind. However, over the last few days I have to say that I have cringed a few times at some of the posts on here :(.

When I first started posting I also asked the dreaded Abai question, and somebody very kindly replied on the thread and also PM'd me with further details when I was still confused. Let's be honest Abai could have made it easier to add their clients!! I would not have even know how to search with the * if it wasn't for this thread. I just think it's uneccessary when posts start to get insultive and rude. Would these posters speak to someone like that if they were face to face? Surely it's best to ignore a question if it annoys you that much.

I have seen this happen on another forum which was closed down in the end. Let's hope that doesn't happen on here
  • Saveit .... not sure why you only come on here to post like you do ......
help on MSE? ..a thing of the past..polite on MSE..no chance!

Is that not a rather generalised comment .... ????? I would love to know where I have not been polite ............... There is much help on here (OK not from everyone) . I personally dont find this a muddled chat thread .... can we not mention swine flu and birthdays ????
