I've been ms'ing for 4 years now. I'm a full time mum, so for the past 2 years it's been my only source of income.

I've just had a letter from HMRC telling me not to submit any more tax returns.

I feel a bit offended , my (little) income means a lot to me & I (bizarrely) enjoy filling in the tax returns, surely they could just humour me?? :p

Awwww! That's really strange that you don't have to fill in anymore returns though. What if you suddenly had a huge increase in MS income!?

The HMRC are funny ones really aren't they!?

So what about my 'employment agency' idea then?

It's still too much of a giveaway IMO. People previously have just put "Government building visits" and I think if they MUST be posted, that is what ought to be used...

I agree with it not being necessary to alert for GR and Gfk. I guess it's sometimes handy to some people but not all the time. I've also been thinking a lot about client naming and we do make it quite obvious which clients we're talking about. Without giving some clue as to what the client is though, how can we ensure that the same alert isn't being posted twice?

    It's a tricky one...

I don't see a problem with 'employment agency' After all there are loads of employment agencies and it could be any of those.

However I also agree that there isn't any point posting alerts for Gfk and GR. The only time I ever see work is when I get an email from them. I have been able to see one of those jobs for days and wasn't interested but it vanished from my account just before the alert went out. That probably just shows they are rotating the jobs around shoppers.

oooh my first ever MS question!! I have had an email from GFK and can see some available jobs, however the last available date is today! Is it like RE where you can email and do it another time or will they be re uploaded for another time period?

    Many thanks all

PS I have my first GFK job today and I am quite nervous!

I'm in the same boat.....wish it meant we didn't have to record any of them!
  • Argghh - so annoyed - got an email back from RE re the little Spanish job I did and they are saying the salad has always been on the briefing notes! Rubbish! I am going to check back on my notes but I am almost 100% sure that this is not the case. The saga continues!

Has any one heard back about those station jobs and cookies jobs that were uploaded the other evening?
