OC post you an email with an invitation to a job, be quick though with FFF as they send this email out to about 10 other people at the same time. Good Luck.0

I got rung by Abai about some catalogue shop jobs, offering me ones near where I live. I said, oh, that's strange as I couldn't see them on the website. (I'd just finished looking as it had been on the alerts thread)
She said they've not been put on the board, we're ringing people to offer them. Didn't find out why tho.0 -
I'm afraid as an "old-timer" I have to agree with Taggie (who has been around a while and posted some useful info, albeit sporadically) and bankypanky.
I don't think it's acceptable to make up the Tern trial report - ok, it doesn't affect anyone's job, but it doesn't say much for people's integrity that they're prepared to lie and I don't think that we should be encouraging people to lie either by making it up.
I very much doubt jellybelly's posts will be removed and I don't find anything wrong with them.
So, I'm sticking up for you Taggie and apologies to anyone who didn't want it bringing up again, but I've been out at work all day and I don't think this precludes me from responding.
Hmm, I think I'm going to have to disagree with you!
I don't think there is a problem at all with making up the Tern test report. After all, what they are testing you on is not what actually happened but your ability to report on it. So whether you actually did go into that jewellers shop, or whether you base it on a previous visit you've done for another company, or whether you make it up completely, what is important is they way you write, the information you give, your spelling and grammar, and the comments you make. They won't know if it's a true scenario or not so I don't see the problem.
And as for doubting peoples integrity because they are prepared to lie - don't we lie virtually every time we do a Mystery shop? In the last 2 days these are the lies I've told:
- for Amber Arch, I've been into 2 beauty shops and said "I'm looking for a birthday gift for my Mum" - oh how I wish that were true, bless her, she died 6 years ago
- for GFK I've been into 2 banks and said I want to open a current account - and for one of them I even gave a false name!
- for GR I've been into 2 electrical stores, in one of them I've said I'm looking for a new TV and in the other I've said I'm looking for a Blu ray player.
Sorry Josie, please don't take my comments personally, we do usually agree on everything, but this time I don't!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yes. I know we do normally agree, but aren't you guessing that that's what they want? They could quite easily say, using your experience describe a recent shopping visit, but they don't they ask you to go and do one and even ask you prices, of what you look at.
Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one!0 -
Can all the sanctimonious people just get back to their usual forum please. It is ridiculous to not post for a year and a half, then just pop in to have a go at us.
Good grief. Considering I was subject to others pure venom earlier today, I'm gathering that I am included in the 'Santimonious' group. Therefore, as I find that a personal attack I have no choice but to respond.
I have made my points clear earlier, and as a member of MSE I am free to view and post in any thread that I like, so long as I abide by the rules. Nowhere in those rules does it state that I have to post every day, nowhere does it say I will be banned for not posting for a year. I have not been rude, offensive, racist or libellous, so it's possible, just possible that I won't be 'blocked' as Duchy so desired.
Faking reports is wrong, doing a job incorrectly is wrong, abusing companies trust is wrong. We all do this job to earn an income, so if everyone was professional in their approach and their posting manner, this small area of the world would be a better place.
Goodnight.0 -
Good grief are you lot still at it ?????
I've now blocked *both* of the people who stirred things up-I have no idea which forum they belong to either. I find one enough to keep up with with a proper job and MSing too not to mention life but generally I find once you get an "in" with certain companies work becomes steadier/eaier to find and it's about helping others rather than "Who does x area jobs" etc. Shouting at people doesn't achieve much (it's why I hid Monkey's red pen) and a forum of shouty people sounds a bit weird to me.

Goodnight.
It would help if people read the posts on this thread before posting vitriolic, critical, self righteous but mainly pointless posts attacking people who use this thread regularly to share our experiences and advice with each other.0 -
Now who was it that said I was unhelpful etc
Having just checked back to my posts in April mmmmm not really that long ago seeing as we are only just in July
I helped ukmonkey sort out their registration on The Office, I checked to see what was happening with Tractorgirls's registration on the Office and I explained to blindman why we didn't accept free email addresses, which is hardly having a go at him, so wonder who hasn't been reading posts correctly :rotfl::rotfl:
Also checking back on my posts, you will notice that I WAS quite active on Pigsback too, but not so now!
My reason for not constantly posting in this thread, as I said before is because of the client naming and the rudeness, which today has seriously reminded me why I don't want to be helpful on this forum, because certain people deem it fit to hang and slaughter me for pointing out about making up reports!!!
Cheers  for reminding why I don't post here :rotfl:0 -

I do believe there's a saying that includes the words pot and kettle.:D
Congratulations on your Nail Varnish win. I hope it's your colour!;)0 -
Yeah definitely, some people have said on here that it has helped them. The broader your search terms and the more postcodes you have the more you're going to be able to see so it can't hurt.
I didn't see anything on GR for about a week and a half after joining, but within a few hours of adding some postcodes of the local shopping centres 1 became available! Since then I have been on 1 shop and have got 3 more lined up and that is since Monday so it definitely works!
In terms of RE it was more like busses....I managed to get a well paid job, however I then found out that being probationary means you can only accept 1 job at a time so be warned, pick the best 1 first!0
