FWIW, if this happened to me I would want to try and fix things with my hubby, no matter how difficult it might be.

Perhaps he feels his main life, his 'real life', with you is complete and happy. But he has this addiction (maybe he developed a taste for it when seeking escape from his nasty ex) and we all know what forbidden delights are like - the more you try not to indulge, the more you want to.

Sad and upset I hope I was not one of the people you felt were being horrible. I admit I was very angry on your behalf (even though I don't really know you!) and your situation is one of my worst nightmares as I am very insecure like you.

Before you discovered his secret, your life together sounded really good, so I hope you can get back to that. I just hope he realises how much he has hurt you and never puts you through anything so hurtful again. All the best. xx

I explained your situation very briefly to my OH last night and his immediate response was 'he is being a right @rsehole!'. Yup, couldn't have put it better myself!

So I hope for your sake he sees the error of his ways and moves hill and mountain to make amends - but whatever lies ahead, just remember that your online circle of support stretches far wider than you realise and you're in the thoughts of many!

We'll be here to moan/sympathise/complain and support as and when you need it. You're not alone!
