I am sitting looking at 3 boxes which need unpacking. Means I have to stand up as they are refusing to sort themselves out.
Can you wait until after the Dr has rung, see what he says, he might say you need to rest it or something like that? Mean lets be honest, if you're leg is gonna drop off today, would you want to be unpacking boxes? Sorry, my humour is a bit strange today:oToo much month, not enough Cash!

we'll pay more when we can afford it, but atm just rounding it up to the £500 mark.

I'm not an expert but with the interrest rate at the moment on savings and the low interrest rate on mortgage, I think this is the best time to OP as said mortgage should reduce quicker.
When interrest rate goes back up,it will be harder to make OP's as your ordinary payment will be higher, if that makes sense:D
Savings rates are s**t atm
oh and good luck with wedding plans, have fun, my son just got married and it was great fun.
