i also discovered that miss sporty light foundation is similar for only £2.99 and now i dont have so much money i changed to that.
in tjhughes they have a great range of makeup for £1 and £2 as well.
TJHughes is absolutely brilliant for brand name beauty bargains, I agree!!0 -
I use No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation from Boot. I have fairly pale skin so always find it a struggle to get a very good foundation.
It's quite sheer, but perfectly blends to give you an even skintone, it feels really silky and light on your skin and it's heavy enough to cover blemishes. Oh it's got SPF too which is always a bonus
It is expensive at 14.40 but I believe it worth every penny or all my boots points
Defo a good one for us fair skinned girls that don't like mineral foundation (I don't because it makes me look ghostly white)

Benefit You Rebel Lite (tinted moisturiser). I'm 31 and have good, if dry skin. So don't need a lot of coverage - just to even out skintone and make me look less tired LOL. It's quite pricey £22 but a tube lasts me at least 6 months as I don't wear it every day.
The other one I've used and really like is No 7 Intelligent Foundation. I'm quite pale and it's the only foundation I've found that will match perfectly to my skin tone.0 -
I'm 42 and have never worn foundation. I use Autograph's Illuminator after moisturising and then blusher. If I'm looking a bit washed out I'll sweep a touch of Lilly Lolo's bronzer over with a big fat brush.0

DD has this and although it's the wrong shade for me, I have had a little play with it and agree the finish is really nice for a tinted moisturiser......very tempted to get some actually!!0 -
39 and use Body Shop Mineral foundation, nice coverage but not sure its lasting all day
, in the summer I use a darker shade plus bronzer from Urban Decay.

I'm currently using No7 intelligent colour foundation - bought it because I'm too lazy to check loads of colours
and decided that I quite liked the smoothness when it goes on.

I dont need too much coverage as i'm only 27 and have great skin.
I also have great skin and only use foundation if I'm going out.0 -
I'm 29 with combination skin and I use e.l.f or Urban Decay mineral powder foundation.
The only problem with e.l.f is I can only use it when I've got a tan as even the palest one is quite dark!
Urban Decay, though it's a lot pricier, do good pale tones ideal for us blondes or redheads!
I used to just wear a powder as I don't like the feeling of normal foundation on my skin, it feels too heavy.Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice.
Illegitimi Non Carborundum!!!:cool:0 -
I use Lancome Teint Idole – yes it is expensive but it is the only foundation I have found that suits my skin and gives me the amount of coverage I like. During the summer I mix it with a little bit of moisturiser to make it lighter (also makes it last longer too).
I was quite lucky as I managed to pick up a brand new bottle at my local car boot for £3 a couple of weeks ago so I was really pleased about thatOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
