Always useful to have recommendations!

Approx age group ( if you want) and skin type, plus any particular skin problems and why you like your foundation would be helpful.

I'm 51:rolleyes: and have normal skin.

I've been using Clinique Supermoisture Makeup for over a year now.
I like;
Excellent coverage. very versatile....you can just use a little or build up more for evening wear etc.
Longlasting... lasts all day without rubbing off or disappearing.
Gives a dewy moist finish
Economical.....costs about £18 I think, but a tube lasts me ages....about 6 months and I use it every day. When I was buying cheaper brands, no way were they lasting as long.

    Bronnie ,

You cant beat Avon foundations , the perfectwear is brillaint . I buy it when its on offer , my last one was £ 6.00.

Its as good as Clinique , great coverage, but very light I love it.

I wear Lily Lolo cover up and foundation mineral make up. I would never go back to liquid for anything after using this.
My skin doesn't feel caked with gunk, it's light, my skin can breathe and the best thing is the zinc it contains is really good for my skin.
Plus the two pots combined cost less than the Estee Lauder foundation I was previous using and last for at least 6 months!

I use Clinique Gentle Light makeup in Candleglow. I love it:D

I dont need too much coverage as i'm only 27 and have great skin.

I love the fact it has a very slight shimmer in it which disguises any imperfections and gives a lovely finish. I also use their gentle light loose powder to set it.

I use olay's foundation(the one mixed with max factor) and i love it, i have tried so many different ones from the top brands Givenchy, elizabeth arder etc to the cheap such as rimmel etc but olays is the best one i have found, a close second is L'oreals visable lift with serum as it goes on lovely and feels good and lasts all day aimed at those in their 40's and 50's(and i'm only in my 30's).

Sisley long wear. It is light but gives coverage wears all day long still looking as fresh as when first applied. The finish is natural and you don't really even need a powder over it. Down side is the cost of £56 a bottle, but I hunt ebay France for deals in my shade. I have got testers for £14. I need porcleine which the UK and US ebay sellers never have.
  • I'm using Barbara Daly's Oil Free Foundation from Tesco. Absolutely brilliant coverage and the colour is long lasting.
  • Clinique superfit for me, i have oily skin so this is perfect for me, good coverage, but not oily. I'm 32 and skin is better than it used to be but far from perfect.

i really love revlon skinlights in pink but theres a beware, these are anywhere between £10 and £14 in the shops but once i saw them for £2.99 in a market, but they were a very watery version, not the real thing.

i also discovered that miss sporty light foundation is similar for only £2.99 and now i dont have so much money i changed to that.

in tjhughes they have a great range of makeup for £1 and £2 as well.

I'm 43 and have combination skin.

I don't use foundation, it feels like a mask. At weekends or if I am going out, I just use a tinted moisturiser. Weekdays I don't bother, just use powder and blusher straight onto my skin.
