Well put Steve ..My main objective is the cost of replacing my not so reliable (due to its age) and not so fuel efficient (20mpg) primera 2.0l auto for a reliable/good MPG city car ..At the moment the best price is the Micra 1.2 visia 3dr ( £6K @ 6.9 % APR )
Cheers Hintza will have a look at online brokers as well ...0 -
have you thought of a nearly new one might get a better deal0

That sounds like a good deal on the Micra.
I'd also have a look at the Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1. They all have Toyota's nippy little 1.0 VVTi engine that averages 63mpg (officially); they're also only £35 a year to tax.
Toyota and Peugeot may be reluctant to discount these little cars but Citroen often offer 'cashback' deals - in effect the car's price is just discounted by the cashback amount.0 -
Hi Guys thanks for responses ..
Hi eslick... Ive looked at some nearly new/Pre-Reg cars and because I can only get under £1K part-exchange the final price is roughly the same as the Nissan Micra deal ie £6K. Eg the same micra 08 reg will go at £7K-£1k px = £6K Wonders whats the lowest price on pre-reg city cars? Do u know of any good websites/dealers ?
Hi Steve..I like all those 3 cars you mentioned..pity they dont offer scrappage discount on my 9yo car. Citroen offer £1K plus PX but only towards higher spec range ..not the C1/2/3 ...Damn ..0
