Bt line no fee connection. Is there a contract period?

Hi I am moving into my flat which has been empty for 1 year whilst renovating. There is a BT line which I presume has been cut off by the previous owner as I haven't had any bills for line rental. This deal that they are doing for no fee connection , I am currently with Talktalk and wondered if I continue to keep them as my provider transferring them to my new address can I continue to pay talktalk the line rental which is included in my package? Or will BT want me to pay them the line rental and stay with them for period? I am on the 20.99 package which is 24 7 calls, international calls, line rental and broadband, can't see any other deals that match, but if I have to pay bT as well then it's not a good deal.
Can anyone advise? Thanks

BT will require you to sign an 18 month contract if you take their free connection offer.
Talk Talk are now able to provide new lines/reconnect old ones, and have a new moving customers dept.Their connection charge to connect you at the new address will be £29.99p
