whoooooo i just phoned them and he could confirm that we have a booking , he couldnt tell me where or when cos the booking is in my h2b`s name but they said hes sending the details out today god its a massive weight off my mind knowing we can actually have a honeymoon on a very low budget wedding yey!!!!!!!!!

well our letter has came and we have been given our first choice devon cliffs but have our last date :-( 5th oct :-(
in one way im pleased cos we have a payday just before but im a little worried about the weather will it be too cold then ???? as its our honeymoon / family holiday i want it to be a nice week , we are going to see if we can book somewhere near for the weekend berfore or after to lengthen the holiday xx

Call the site direct and ask them if you can book an extra holiday. I did that at Easter, we'd booked the mon to friday. And the lady orginally offered me either fri - mon before the orginal booking, OR the fri to mon after the holiday. But I was trying to avoid coming home on friday ( as it meant day off work for OH, who was collecting us) and coming home on the Mon was no good as the kids were back at school that Monday.
I explained all this to the site and the lady was wonderful. She even moved some people to accomadate us!!!!! We ended up with Sat - Sat for an extra £50. Whole holiday cost us about £150 ( there are six of us) BUT the orginal mon - fri cost was £199 so we'd got a good deal.

So try calling the site and explaining the situation, they maybe able to help.

thanks i will do that i`ll ring them next week i have looked around and to get a hotel or opremier inn or travel lodge it will be aprox £140 :eek: weve said if we can get the extra days for about £100 or less then we`ll do it any more than that we cant xx

Defo worth a call I think. nothing ventured nothing gained.
Be nice:A and lay it on thick about it being your honeymoon etc never know it may help

there is lots of indoors stuff to do @ devon cliffs

and even if cold,at least if it's dry ( wrap up warm) you can still go to the beach etc

we have been on static caravan holidays at end of oct before, and always had a fab time
sometimes raining,sometimes sunny and dry you never know!

Just bring plenty of warm clothing and if possible,upgrade to one with heated bedrooms
or take small heater ,as the bedrooms do get cold
but we find the gas fire in living area really good

Hey,

My partner and i sent off our forms and tokens as soon as we finished collecting them, and our cheque cleared a couple of weeks ago now. We phoned the Sun holiday hotline and got told our holiday had been approved but they couldnt tell us where or when we were going from our preferences! Our 1st set of dates was the 4th Sept, this weekend!!!! Yet still no comfirmation. We were told we would get the letter last week, but now they've closed the hotline!
Very annoyed!

If I was you I would ring the parks you had on your form and ask if they can tell you if you have a booking, I had to do this with Haven sites and they knew when and where my booking was and resent the confirmation
