swapping BT wireless to madasafish

BT says that our Voyager 2000 wireless router is 'network locked' i.e. madasafish would have problems transmitting. Are BT being cagey? Don't want to buy madasafish's wireless stuff @ 75 quid, do I?

Hi dymagm,
We're not certain if BT have networked locked the Voyager 2000 to their services - they have networked locked their 2091. It's possible that the 2000 may not be networked locked as it might be older than the BT policy of network locking....
Can you test the Voyager 2000 on a friend's broadband (with a different ISP) to see if it works with a different service provider?
Most ADSL wireless routers are compatible with our services (with exception to ones handed out by ISPs who lock them into their network). You don't have to purchase one through us and you may find a better deal on a wireless hardware elsewhere.
I would like to point out that all hardware that Madasafish supply is NOT networked locked - which future forward will give you more flexibility.
Kind regards,
Samara
