I'm not sure where else to post this ... can you pay for just one meal in the half board canteen at butlins? I seem to remember seeing a notice about it a couple of years ago.
We got butlins for september during the last sun promotion, 4 groups of us going but everyone else is much richer than we are, and they are all now upgrading to half board! We can't afford £50 per day just to feed 4 of us. I was wondering if you can pay to just have the evening meal in the canteen?
hi jellyhead, we went this april to butlins bognor and upgraded to half-board. let me tell you, the food was well worth it. loads of choices at breakfast and dinner. we stuffed ourselves in the morning and didn't get hungry till 4pm when dinner time.
i think they charge £10 for kids, £15 for adults breakfas. it costs a little bit more for dinner.
in my confirmation, it said dinner, bed and breakfast. i'm not sure they do just dinner. maybe you should ring them and ask.

got my priority booking as well and hoping to get butlins minehead for october half-term.
Thanks for people posting the codes. You're all a STAR!!!

I've emailed them to ask if we can just pay for dinner on one or more days, but it said it might take 48 hours for a reply

From previous threads I found something that said you pay roughly £10 per adult for dinner and £5 for breakfast. Husband came home for lunch and said no way can we afford £20 per day (family of 4) just on breakfast, but £30 for dinner would be okay.52% tight0 -

No one is booking yet ....
people who have been on a SUN holiday before get sent a priority booking form / code
so they are able to book online : www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk
everyone else has to sent the actual paper tokens off,no one can book over the phone
all info is here : www.thesun.co.uk/holidays

i'm a little bit annoyed that i haven't received my priority booking form - i've been on two this year, so maybe they think i'm being a bit greedy!!!0

Oh no, so they won't take bookings for more than 6 now?
How annoying, will have to tell bro and sil they are unable to come now:rolleyes: well she is going to be about 6 months pg and would have to have the double bed, which means that muggins here'd probably end up in a bunkbed or something even after doing all the work and laying out the money!0
