hi guys! I have never been on a Sun holiday before so I thought I'd try my luck this time! But I noticed it's based on 4 sharing. Does it have to be 4 people? Does it work out more if there are less of you going?

you have to pay for 4 persons, even if 1,2 or 3 of you going

Have done Sun holiday before with 2 other families. Sent off applications together with covering letter. Anyone know if I can do a group booking for all 3 families on line?

no,you would need 3 priority codes, and hope that you all get the same date / site!

Thanks Rachie B. We have got 3 codes between us as but it's probably better to post our application with covering letter to ensure we get same dates/sites I guess.

Thanks Rachie B. We have got 3 codes between us as but it's probably better to post our application with covering letter to ensure we get same dates/sites I guess.

Earlier in the year we booked online (at 4am:eek: in the morning) with another family.
We both had codes and kept putting in the same dates and places into the computer untill we got the same place and date.

We were on the phone to each other as well to keep in touch.

We ended up with our 1st choice date 13th July and 2nd choice park Golden Sands, Mablethorpe.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If you are able to co-ordinate 3 computers and 3 phones it will be better to try online on Friday night/Saturday morning. Especially if you are wanting a popular park or half term dates.

We (myself, my hubby & our toddler) did The Sun holiday deal last year....
All I can say is, STAY AWAY FROM JOHN FOWLER HOLIDAY PARKS in Cornwall. I think there's two. We went to both. Unbelievable! A "Gold Chalet" in St Ives resort is little more than a dirty, damp shed in the woods. We were transferred to the other resort (can't remember the name) which was just as bad. Damp, mouldy & covered in pet hair.
We booked for 4 nights, upgraded for £80, drove all the way from Wigan to Cornwall, and ended up driving back home the next morning!
My daughter (who was 7 months old at the time) also got a chest infection from staying the one night.
We did complain but all was offered was 25% off our next stay! Ha! As if!

So I'd definitely say stay well clear of John Folwer.

I'm not sure where else to post this ... can you pay for just one meal in the half board canteen at butlins? I seem to remember seeing a notice about it a couple of years ago.

We got butlins for september during the last sun promotion, 4 groups of us going but everyone else is much richer than we are, and they are all now upgrading to half board! We can't afford £50 per day just to feed 4 of us. I was wondering if you can pay to just have the evening meal in the canteen?
