Awww thank you so much, that makes total sense! Would you believe I have lived here for a year and a half! Lol!! Seriously the whole place just stresses me out, no matter when I try to take a 'short cut' I come out in the wrong place and have to drive round the one way system! Lol

The town has grown a lot in the last few years and the traffic is horrendous sometimes so I'm not surprised it stresses you. My work involves driving around the local area, so I know every shortcut there is. :D If you ever need help just send me a pm.

    Afternoon everyone.

I have not been on here for a few weeks at least, but I am enjoying a well deserved afternoon off work. It is so nice to get stuff down round the house before the weekend starts (hopefully I can have this weekend off of cleaning etc)

O/S - Cleaned shower room and bathroom, hoovered upstairs, put washing out on line and some more in the ws, took the dog out for a walk, sorted the bins and recycling out, going to make macaroni cheese for tea tonight. Need to also water tomatoes and courgettes - I grew the courgettes from seed and they have just started flowering - yay! I know this is a bit late compared to other peoples but nevermind.

Finally my OH has got a job after 6 months of looking so he is living with his dad in the week and home on days off - suits both of us as we haven't been getting on that great lately - money issues mainly so hopefully the new situation will help both of us. The only negative thing is that he doesn't get paid until the end of next month :(

I have decided today to look at claiming back overdraft fees with my bank only problem is I have a 2k overdraft with them and a personal loan with the bank and slightly worried they will expect me to pay all the overdraft back asap.

Anyway gonna enjoy my second cup of coffee now and have a read of other posts. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day.

    Afternoon everyone

I get later and later with these posts!

Been an odd sort of day here as it was lovely this morning first thing and then it went all grey and miserable but finally about an hour ago the rain broke through:j.Thankfully I've managed to get two loads dried on the line so I'm pretty much up to date with the washing.I've cleaned the upstairs windows this morning and changed the girls bedding. The kids had sausage casserole, mash and mixed veg for tea. With good old jelly and ice-cream for pud:D

With the washing up all done it would normally be bathing the kids and then toes up time for me but MD has her Choir Concert tonight so no doubt I will be going out to that unless OH wants to go instead.YS is a bit of a handful in polite society so we tend to try and keep him out of it until he's a bit older and knows better:o.Somehow though I think OH will want us all to go and I will have to put up with the looks and tutting of the other mums:o

I've been into town today buying OH's Fathers Day presents. So far he has some new slippers,Hellboy2 DVD, and a bottle of Glenfiddich. They are all wrapped and hidden in my wardrobe.Just one more present to find and I am done. He's also informed me he wants a cake and he wants it decorated like a fishtank.Hmm not hard so should be fun

Hubby & I celebrated some good news last night, only problem was that our shower is a bit small & I ended up with a black eye, don't ask & don't laugh!!
I'll post more information on my blog, about the the good news, lol, not about how I got my black eye!
I'm still picking strawberries every day & we are eating lettuce with everything as we have so much growing. We also have a lot of herbs in the garden, I recently bought a mezaluna (sp) so I can chop them up easier.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
