BT mobile

Anybody out there use BT Mobile. I would like to know how it is and how others like it/dislike it. I am thinking of taking out a contract with them but I never see any information about them when I look up info about mobiles...? Any insight you can give me would be great.

No problem with BT Mobile. They use o2, since they used to own it when it was called Cellnet. They are about to start using Vodafone's network I think. So should be ok. They don't currently have their own network.

Here's a link to some offers on TMobile for 4.99 line rental for 6 months:

They are on the t-mobiles network, but seem ok. I used to be on virgin who also use the same network and they were poor!

Payless  BT currently use o2 for their Business service and T-Mobile for their Home user service.

For their up and coming 3g offering they are about to sign up with Vodafone.

Been with them since September, a cracking deal involving a T610 that quickly got sold to cover twice the year's contract cost after CPW's cashback.

At that time the CS was acknowledged to be of poor quality, but shortly afterwards I spoke to them several times and the engagingly amateur boys and girls from Belfast are polite if not always completely clued up. They were swift to apply a goodwill credit the other day when my phone switched to a French network while I was still in the UK (I live near the channel ports) and received a roaming charge. Interestingly, the incoming roaming cost is by the second (not per minute like some), and worked out at only 22p/min.

No probs with text reception, but no online services. If your reception of T-Mobile will be OK, then try this cheap and cheerful offering.

I got my wife the bargain T610 deal in August from e2save (have just received the first £90 cashback instalment). She can't get a signal in the house, so struggles to send and receive the free texts.

    Hi

I have used BTM since August.

Signed up through e2save.com for 12 month contract on cash-back deal.
I'm using a Sony Ericsson T630, and I've had no reception problems or dropped calls - I'm in NE Scotland.

BTM are definitely using T-Mobile network currently (for non-business use).

Can't comment on their customer service, as I've had no need to contact them.
