If wardens etc. draw a blank on this, how about posting the location - theres bound to be someone on this forum who lives nearby and can keep an eye out?

Good idea! Are you comfortable saying which park it was lowis?
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Hold up, wait for the dog warden and rspca to get back - just in case they have any ideas themselves.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Yeah ey up me duck, I missed that one in the sentinel but don't have it delivered and only look online.

I don't know if you will remember but a few years back (2005) an incident of dogs being stolen from the dogs home. Well the day before this i was waiting at a bus stop and some guys pulled up in a car (they were asians actually) and they asked for the way to the city dogs home. I told them it was just up the road and I found it strange as they seemed really suss (not being racist here but one looked like he had been in fight as he had a blood shot eye and looked strange) Anyway next day it was in the sentinel that these dogs (4 staffy bulls) had been stolen from there. I will always think it was these blokes for dog fights. They never turned up there as I had called when I got home cause it was playing on my mind and they wanted to know the way for something. I also called the police too but they did not want to know really as I had nothing other than the car was red and they were two asians acting really stange. I think two were found with wounds if i remember rightly. Trying to find the archive now.

I had rang the police and the dogs home before this happened. I just hope they are now with a loving family. They want stringing up who did this.

i should have done an update. i rang the dog warden and left several messages (my borough has ONE dog warden!) and eventually he got back to me. i gave him the details of what i saw but he was frank in that there was little he could do. i called the rspca and got pretty much the same reply but was advised that if i witnessed it again to try and get the vehicle registration number if (safely) possible.

i have been by the park (shoreditch park) at about the same time at least 4 days a week since, but haven't seen them again...but if i do i will get their numberplate and get them reported.
