    let us know!
the house next door to me that got repoed a while ago has had one viewing since its been on sale and its not on for a exotic price and the estate agent is still driving a mazda sports car...

you obviously don't live in a very desirable location - from many people on here property is moving and offers are being received

    chucky....lovely Cheshire thank you...and you a where?
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Welcome back, Cleaver - we've changed, we're all fuzzy, huggy people now (thanks to Mewbie). Anyway, so glad to hear from you and look forward to hearing how it goes with selling the BTL.

You'll be giving Generali a run for his money with all this Management learning and going abroad and stuff. In fact, talking of sockpuppets....

    Great to hear from you.

that wasn't a dig Geoffrey just a comment that there is currently movement in the market - spring bounce or whatever you like to call it.

if it's not happening with you and the repo is priced well it's got to be because people don't want to live there or people can't afford it.

Damn, our plan to dump you failed .... you logged on and found us!

Ha ha! Just think, maybe just a couple more tirades from Dervish and you would have all just dissapeared. I would have seriously wondered if it had all been a dream.
I care about your flat. And I've missed you on here. ;)

The wife swap meets mean we keep in touch though, hey?

Be honest, was that one visit you having a gander? Is there really a house next door to you that's been repoed and is for sale or have you just made it up? Is it like the spoon in The Matrix? I was about to slag this comment off as pointless, anecdotal, rubbish... then realised that's what all my posts on this subject will be.

Someone says try this or that..........you try it....and we get to study the effects.

You think I'd let this rabble make suggestions on selling my house?!

"Knock 60% off the price. Then it will sell. It'll be worth that in two years anyway."

"Swap it for a bunker full of tinned goods."

"You're a BTL scum landlord, I hope it burns down so a FTB can build a wigwam on the site" (ad44downey)

Thought I might have accidently guessed right with the kama sutra?

    Was I right?

Yes. I send my time posting out copies of books that detail sexual positions to random people I meet on internet forums. At least that's what it said on the police report.
FWIW I was not offended, but I think many women would have been, so it was a good call to remove. :)

Surely the only women that would be offended are ones who are too embarassed to try anything other than the missionary? Just as a tip, if you try the reverse wheelbarrow I would avoid laminate floor and pick a surface with some friction. Mrs Cleaver's elbow has never really recovered.

Oh its you. Marching back here with your mega thanks count and fancypants la-di-da Masters degree, rubbing your BTL empire in our faces...

Actually, there is no BTL to even sell. I just made it up for the thanks count.

I've worked damn hard since you've been gone to erase the memory of Cleaver the demi God. Tried a bit of the touchy feely stuff to try to take their minds off it. And now you're back. Damn it I even wrote a poem to finalise the arrangement, no one comes back after they've had a Mewbie poem.

...***sniff***... I have that poem on my cubicle wall at work...

Thanks very much! Erm... you interested? Dual aspect windows and all that...

Nah, Gen knows about bonds, yields, shadow banking, credit default swaps, equity derivatives and other stuff that doesn't exist. All I've learnt from my studies so far is that the OU send you A LOT of books and that lots of people have a lot of theories on a lot of stuff. A bit like here really.

A bit exposed to financial services, Halifax, NBNA(now B.O.A has around 7,000 employees), Vauxhalls as well.

Laminate? I avoid it for all positions, even the ones like walking across it. Hate it: almost as much as I hate dirty carpet.

FwiW grass is the perfect surface for most things. Soft enough for some give, doesn't give burns, but has good ''grip'' except...well, no, I'm not going to say it, because I can see the progression of the jokes from that point onwards.

When are the agents coming to value the flat?

in some narcissistic , pointless, anecdotal way.

Usually those things are the most intersting...so feel free.:D

Board seems to be going a bit more niche and lots of posters returning who left too. Some are PPR'd and others are using different user names..but we know who they really are.

A lot of us have had to deal with certain life/work changes duing the past 2 years. Some believe those changes were all down to the downturn, but for many, they may have happened regardless.

Good luck with the house sale....don't forget to take Dopestars valuation into account when you decide what price to go with.;)
