What you can do though, if they dont write the date on the receipt, just make a note of the date and time yourself - if it goes within a couple of months and you know the date and time it got replaced, it can in some instances be traced on our stock system, providing you go back to the store that issued the replacement. 0 -
i think the key to a refund/replacement in any store, not just argos, is to be polite to the sales assistant - shouting doesnt get you anywhere (just my humble opinion!). ive had 2 kettles in 12mths from argos - both £20+ and they both leaked - i too have come to the same conclusion that things arent built like they used to be!!0
