According to the user reviews it doesn't have an Aux input. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
That's that then, thanks everyone for your help, I tried connecting the red and white connectors to the TV and the skybox, I don't know whether it should then be stereo through the TV? When I changed channel from BBC1 I could still faintly hear the sound on BBC1 and the sound of BBC2?0

We run our Sky+ box into our hi-fi, and the sound is very good indeed.
According to the "See more technical details"in the above Amazon link the Philips micro hi-fi unit has a "Aux in: Line in".
Therefore you need a cable to run from the Sky box's output to the Philips unit's Aux In.
In my case the cable has a pair of red and white phono (aka RCA) plugs at one end and a 5-pin DIN plug at the other. Other possibilities depending upon the hi-fi are twin phono to twin phono, or twin phono to mini-jack. You can get these cables in Tescos, Maplins, Pound shops and many other places.0 -

I stand corrected, found the handbook

There is indeed an Aux in, see page 19 ish.
I suspect OPs TV has more audio power than the 4 watts of the Microsystem though. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Something like this would connect them (What the quality would be like ive no clue)

The AUX is much smaller than the red and white holes0
-
Yes I know. Its a 3.5 jack (Like a headphone socket)
The red and whites goto the skybox:idea:0 -
The aux hole is the same size as the headphone hole, which is the same size as my headphones socket before I put it into the headphone adapter so that it fits a 3.5 hole.0
