End of sept and end of March are the most important Quarters. End of August for most ppl new car wise will be a write off!0

Hyundai are showing a centralised £4200 discount on the sonata from 1 April to 30 June. Two questions ...
Is this really likely to finish at the end of June? Gut instinct says yes
As this comes from Hyundai central, is there scope to negotiate (as for normal car purcahses) further discounts with local dealers with such promotions, or are their hands likely to be tied in this case?
I'm thinking that even if the promotion does end this month, there may be pickings to be had at the end of July as they try to clear the decks of old-reg cars ready for August.0 -
Yes it probably will end come the end of June. Most MFR's review their marketing campaigns on a quartely basis. It might be the case that it is improved for next quarter equally it might reduce.
Yes try and haggle further. You will quickly find out if that price is negotiable or not. But if you don't ask you don't get.
I'm not sure if i follow the bit about old-reg cars. Its unusual for dealers to pre-reg cars now. Even if they did they have to keep them for 90days, so a car registered in june couldn't be delivered untill september.
The new plate comes out 1st of september!0 -
1st september? Doh!0
