The strawberry ones are horrible. As the above poster says, the icing is packed with sugar and way too thick.

Oh this really isn't sounding too good, they look so nice  - I would think they have them tasted by people who are lucky enough to have these jobs!!

    M&S - we'll be your tasters :j

i also agree that the strawberry ones with pink glitter are absolutley horrible - they taste very synthetic!

I've tried the £2.99 chocolate, strawberry and carrot ones (all in the name of research!! :D)

Chocolate ones were horrid - they didn't taste chocolately at all, I just thought it was a weird chemically taste.

Strawberry ones - these were better than the choc but still had that weird aftertaste to them. Too much icing for the size of the cake.

Carrot - These were the best of the three although the cake was very dry and crumbley and again there was a bit too much of the sickly frosting.

i had the ones with sparkly pink sugar on them...i thought the icing had the texture of lard they were too big and the jam in centre was nasty...they look lovely though and were reduced when i got them

Oh no, it's a real shame.. years ago M&S used to do 4pk butterfly cakes and they were yummy, I was really disappointed when they stopped selling them.. :(

Does anyone know where you can get some really good cupcakes
