easiest one 1st, check tyre pressures

Oh yeah......FYI - different tyre tread and and depth of tread can also affect it
  • You do not say which make or model car it is !! some cars have a tendency to pull to one side as a example the Toyota Verso does this

    As stated by other posters

    tracking
    wheel balance
    Tyre pressures
    Tyres condition

are the first ones to check

Mine did that. 6 months old, had the tracking and balancing done, pressure was ok, in the end I swopped the wheels corner to corner diagonally and it fixed it. No good reason, and since then the tyres have been changed and swopped around a few times since, but it's never come back.

Different tyres can have different rolling resistance, ply steer & conicity, all of which could contribute to sidepull. Swapping tyres around is a good thing to try as a DIY fix, because it's free.
