new k750 i on o2 am i being thick with MP3's

I have a new K750i on 02 and have dragged and dropped mp3's to the relevent files but my phone refuses to see them do i need to convert them or am i just being really dull.
I want to create my own ringtones eventually
i managed with the k700 in the end but can't for the life of me remeber how i did it

You may have the memorystick bug problem (fixed with the latest firmware) the k750i are prone for or just the card needs formating again.
If everything is correct? dragging and dropping works for me on my k750i no problem.

The software that comes with the k750i is terrible! I just bought more memory for the removable drive and deal with file transfers that way...
