If you want to make a little extra cash, surveys etc are a very good way of getting a little extra bonus, especially as they are always looking for people with young children. I get loads, will pm you with a list if you want?
Hope things get better for you soon xx
Thanks That would be great"Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.":beer:0

            Thanks for all your replies.
The woman from the council came to check that we hadn't wreaked house - we were placed here on a council scheme where they paid the deposit.
She said she will check we are on the housing list, we live in a small 2 bed flat at the moment. They council will soon be going over to a 'points' system and we can then bid on anything suitable.
I would LOVE to go back to work, but cannot afford the child care. I have been advised if i went back full time paying for the kids in nursery (even with the grants availble). I have looked into evening / weekend jobs but would need to work 40+hours to actually 'see' any money, after tax credits and housing allowence has been dropped. DH dosnt like the idea of never seeing me-either that or having to look after all the kids by himself .
DH has agreed to sit and talk about money tonight - as for the debt it seems 'his' loan appears to be in both our names??? not sure how that happened? Surely i would of had to sign somthing? I know he added to it about 3 years ago?
I have around 5000. on my credit card.
My cousin has said that if you do get a council place you can work, as you are charged a flat rate for rent, rarther than benefit by income? anyone know if this is true - If so would solve alot of out problems
Thanks Again"Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.":beer:0

Yes, your rent is fixed in a council flat. Your wages would still affect any housing benefit, but the rent is so low that you would still probably be better off. For instance, I'm in a 1 bed flat and it's £56 a week, which is high because it's got disabled adaptations. It was £52 when I moved in 3 years ago, when I was paying £320 a month in a private rent. So a big difference.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

It would only be a joint deby/loan if you had signed it.
You could request a copy of the signed credit agreement by sending a subject access request (SAR - cost £10) if you are concerned about it, but your signature would definately have been required. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
