I've got sore thighs too this morning, went for a really hilly run last night and the downhill bits were painful!

Good luck Lou, I'm sure you'll be fine x

    I went awol too!

The weather's a bit crap here, but I've got a major housework session planned with my sister so I'm glad, I'd hate having to do it while the sun was shining and I could be outside enjoying it.

Not sure how long I'll be able to keep up with this thread for, it always moves so fast!

    Morning all,

Fantastic news about the respite care Toto, my friend's mum found it a godsend to have a couple of nights a month to relax and spend time with my friend (his sister is severely disabled).

I've twisted my ankle doing Active :( Good job I've got a rest day today, coated it in Deep Heat and hoping it goes off.

The weather here is so horrible - kids have a non uniform day today. It was lovely yeaterday to I looked out shorts and tee shirts only to be woken with rain battering the window! Much to DD3 disgust I made her put on her new shorts! then added a rain coat and brolly!
I shpould be doing ironing! but can't get motivated! On night shift tonight so should try to get a sleep later!
Going to do a new budget today! My finances are out of control at the moment - but I'm scared to write it down!

IA, so jealous! I went to Download last year and it was amazing. Couldn't go this year though because of finances and having an exam monday morning.

Just had bad news - my sister's failed her degree. Obviously I'm really upset for her, but I'm selfishly thinking of myself. I've been buying her food and lending her money for the last 9 months, which on income support is a stretch. I can just afford it but it means going without myself, especially since she has expensive tastes. Now it looks like there's no end in sight. Sorry, just needed to moan somewhere that she wouldn't see it.

If she's not a student anymore she should look at getting benefits in her own right hun and not relying on you. your income support is for your family not your sister.
That sucks that she's failed her degree though :(
