hmm - this is a hard one.

I liked moggins suggestion - frugal ways for modern days and also PP's idea of the use of nifty and thrifty.

what about combining the two to make Thrifty ways for modern days?????? :D

    as for my own ideas:
Become thrifty in a jiffy (!)
    Kitchen thift
    home made moneysaving

I like 'The Lost Art of Money Saving'
you could add a subtitle - 'in the 21st century' maybe.
I agree not to have Old in the title and I would suggest not to have Cheap either.

There is already a book with 1,001 in the title, (if my dog wasn't asleep on my lap I would go and get it and tell you properly. Will edit later) which is all old tips. Its a catchy title but could be confusing.

I also have one called Grandmother's Lore (I think, again, will confirm later) and I think having anything in the title to do with granny or war, may put people off. Certainly when we have visitors, they will look at the 1,001 book but have to be prompted to look at the other one.

I'm with others here, I love moggins' Frugal Ways for Modern Days. Perhaps it should have Money Saving Expert before it so it is clearer what you might expect to find inside.

Another vote for Frugal (or Thrifty) Ways For Modern Days.

And yup I have the 1001 handy hints for the home or what ever it's called... (it's hidden on a bookshelf somewhere...) BUT I also have 1001 Country Household Hints - a lot of it is kinda old thrift and a lot no longer relevant I think... but still interesting :)
