Why do I never get Nectar coupons from Sainsbury's?

Hi,
My parents seem to regularly get some pretty good coupons for bonus Nectar points etc. at Sainsbury's but I've never had a single thing
I've set the communication preferences on the Nectar site to ones that suggest they might result in me being sent something but no...
They've definitely got my address because I received a points statement today.

Maybe I should stop using the Nectar card then they'll think I'm shopping elsewhere and try to entice me back!

I never get either yet my card is used weekly! My mum gets and she hardly ever uses hers!

I should ring and ask why!

did you not get any vouchers with your balance, id try giving them a call

have you checked your settings in your nectar account or call up nectar and ask for coupons to be sent

Yeah last time I was on it was set to send stuff to me, will go check again now tho.

From time to time I get something like £2 off £20 shop (use them in Mr T's!) but I very rarely shop in Mr S's and when I do it's only for oddments.

I suspect they want your mum to shop there more so they send coupons but they figure you're going to shop there anyway - coupons or not.

Yeah I get that but my card is only used for petrol and very rarely in store so thought they would want to get me in store too. Im only in when they have their good deals on baby stuff.

Anyway have emailed to ask why I havent had anything and requested some as the first reply I got basically said 'well what do you want us to do about it'!!:rolleyes:

I'd suggest that you are on their no-communications list. When working out whether their promos etc are working, they need to have a groups of custoemrs who do not receive any promos etc at all - as this can then be used as a benchmark. Unfortunately, it sounds like you are in their control sample.
