Couldn't you put message on your listing?

He'll probably read it again if he's still interested.

My O/H suggested that too. Trouble is the guy is probably not watching any more as he obviously wanted overdrive on the vehicle, and me the plonker I am said it didn't have it ( I was tired :o ).

Oh well, I know it'll sell - I just hate giving the wrong information.

Actually there should be a way to contact people who've asked questions more than once, precisely for this reason - mistakes, changes and idiots like me.

if you go to the message they sent you, where it says their username it gives you the number of feedback they have, click on the number and takes you right to their feedback page and at the right side of the page it says contact seller,

Thanks reeree but it seems ebay don't allow this any more. They'll only let you contact a user a) if you have a question about something they are selling/you have won or b) they've asked a question about something you are selling and once answered you can't get a second bite of the cherry.

I'd put the message on there anyway & ask him to contact you again!

It also lets others know it has got overdrive on the vehicle & someone else is interested in it.

Ebay used to have a setting to display all messages sent to you on a listing has that changed?
If not you should set it to do that.

    good luck.

ebay appear to have crack downs now & again on contacting non-trading partners through their system.

I'm not sure if this is general, or applies to certain accounts when they start sending lots of messages to non-trading partners.

I remember a while back I was having big problems with a seller and I needed to contact some others who had recently bought from him. (shows how long ago that was, doesn't it! :o) After managing to send a few messages to different people, my message system was blocked to non-trading partners.
    It cleared itself later.
