I'm with BT broadband - how do I go wireless?

Hi
I've been with BT broadband for a few years and have an old style broadband modem that isn't wireless. I now want to go wireless. What's the best way to do this?
Will BT give me a wireless modem if I ask? Will this cost me anything and am I likely to have to sign a new contract? Or should I buy a wireless modem? If so, which one should I get?
I don't have a clue
Please help me

you will probably have to sign up for a new contract , 12 or 18 month, but if you bluff them on cancellation you will get reduced monthly payments , if you are a sky or O2 customer then swap to them , get the wireless modem for free and pay less for your broadband
or seen this on ebay for £15 del (older hub but fine for wireless)

Thanks. I really don't want to get into another contract as I might be moving soon. Hence the reason I'm stuck with expensive BT!

You will also need a wireless adapter for your PC or laptop, unless you already have a wireless laptop. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I currently just have a pc. I'm thinking of getting a laptop, hence why I want the wireless. Thanks for pointing this out - I'll make sure any new laptop can cope with wireless.Proud to be a MoneySaver!

All new laptops come with wireless built in. But you can easily make your desktop PC wireless if needed, though not a lot of point if your router is nearby. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
