Nokia

I recently took my Nokia 6230i (that was working apart from it not ringing out when someone called me) into Next Communications in Southampton. They sent it away for repair as they were unable to repair it on site. I was then contacted by Next Communications by text saying that the phone was beyond economical repair. I went to the shop and was told that the unit had been damaged by liquid and that the warrenty did not cover this. I then put the battery and sim card back in the phone and tried to switch it on, the phone did not work at all now, to say the least i wasn't happy, as far as I am aware this phone had never been in contact with any liquid, but it had worked ok with this fault for some time, is there any further action that i can take.
stay lucky!
Steve.
