Boiling Eggs and other food together!

Hi, I am just hard boiling some eggs but also need to put some pasta on soon. Do you think it is OK to boil them together in the same pan:o It seems like a good money saving option, if I can :) Thanks.

Like with apples, potatoes, almost any other fresh produce, the bread from the bakery section of the supermarket.

Every time I bake something with eggs in some of the shell gets into the mixture. I remove it and carry on. Been doing this for about 30 years, my mum's been doing it for about 55 years.

I don't wash fruit and veg before I eat it either unless it has mud on it. I'm never ill.
