According to http://www.whatsthecost.com/stoozing.aspx, you'll return a £9.94 profit (on an effective 8 month stooz). You'll have to ask yourself "is it worth it?"0 -

Avondale - it seems we both need to take a close look at the fees for messing up on this card. For example there will be a fee for late payments. If we miss the first payment because we're new to this game, then this gets charged to the card, i believe. Then if this extra pushes you over your credit limit i'd imagine there's another fee to pay etc.
Personally, i am thinking of leaving 5% behind on the card, since this seems to be recommended elsewhere.
Avondale - do you have your cheques yet? I am still waiting - seems like we're at about the same stage in our stoozing. Got any other cards yet? I am going for Sainbury's banking 0% purchases next to put my normal spending into a "slow-stooze" (matching money spent on the card with cash put away in easy access high rate savings), then the Virgin card that allows SBT for £35(allegedly - not sure this is what their website says s the charge...). Trying desparately not to apply for 10 cards in one evening!
I'm also starting to look into matched betting, which has netted some people on here lots of free cash (e.g Donglemouse's excellent matched betting diary which explains getting approx £3k from this in 32ish weeks)Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery0 -
I've had a MINT card for approx. 8 months and as far as I know you only get charged the 2% fee on Cheques during the first 3 months from account opening. I've been writing cheques to myself for the Full Credit Limit and paying them into my bank Current Account since Month 4. I have never been charged any fees for using these cheques.0

To cut a long story short i've cut up and cancelled my mint card, thought it was an insult the credit limit give of £1900, told by them this is what i should expect on a salary of £40k. Never had any debts and my SKYCARD has given me £5k credit limit, any one got any experience of upping limit on SKYCARD.0

There is no fee if you've a Mint CC from last year (like me) but sometime since the T&C changed and they now charge up to £49 (?) per cheque.0
