Have just managed to 'haggle' at a VW garage on a new golf.

I checked and printed Autobytel's price (£1000 less than RRP) and checked what they would P/E my current car for.

Although the VW rep. would only give me £800 off the RRP they gave me £500 more for the P/E than Autobytel would.

I think it was helped by the fact that Autobytel is Inchcape which also runs some VW dealerships.

Kind of covers the % interest on the PCP that I resent paying and will hopefully stop ASAP.

I think I got a bargain though. I know that because the two salesmen didn't seem very happy with me :rotfl:

Heres a 2010 Bluemotion with less than 5K miles for £15995. I'd be haggling for another £500 off this.

I would strongly recommend the bluemotion. I got an easy 60-65mpg from my bluemotion saloon.
