"Hello everybody. Think about when you're writing on MSE. Sometimes you want to quote a post in your reply, and I'm sure that you've all probably worked out how to do that. But what happens if you want to quote two different posts in your reply? Well, here's how you do it:-
Step 1. At the end of each post you want to quote, you'll see a line of buttons, one of which looks like a quotation mark with an addition symbol .........................":heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I noticed the multi-quote function and I can't figure it out.
I'm sure it's easy but only manage to quote one post at a time on separate posts. :rotfl:

Peeps. You click on the MQ button for the posts you want to quote (as I did yours), and it goes Red to show it's been clicked.
Then when you click Reply to write your response (not the quick reply box at the bottom but the Post Reply button), you'll find it has included all of the posts that you wanted to quote.
Not just a pretty face then
Seriously though somehow I managed to get "Firefox" into a loop of some sort when using MSE forum tonight.
Response slowed down to dial up type speeds.
So I did a control+alt+del and discovered firefox using up 50% of the PC, apparently doing nothing.
I hope it has not been sitting there half the night acting as some sort of "bot".
Had to crash it and reboot to regain control of the PC, so I was looking for some sort of explanation - don't think this is it.0 -
