I am sure someone can answer this question very quickly so here goes...

I am just about to switch from a contract with orange to pay as you go. They are sending me a new sim and i am able to keep the same number. However, when i switch sims will i be able to keep my phone book details? i.e or will i need to type all my numbers again etc?

I have a nokia 3510i

Thanks

Make sure that your phone numbers are stored in your phone, not on your SIM card. That way they will remain in the phone when you put the new SIM in it.

With Nokia handsets you can easily copy the numbers from the SIM to the phone:

    1. Press NAMES
    2. Scroll down and press COPY
    3. Scroll down to FROM SIM CARD TO PHONE
    4. Scroll down to ALL
    5. Scroll down to MOVE ORIGINAL
    6. Start copying is displayed - press YES

    and there you go............
