Yeah I'm sure most of us have been in your shoes before. I'm in my mid 30's and ten years age i was 35g in debt. Canadian $$. My sollution,I opened a saftey deposit box I put my cards in the bank and was out of debt in 13 months. Yeah it was tough because I'm a clothes horse, as nike says "just do it"!!!
Call your cc company get your interest rate down, tell them you are going to another company and they should bring your rate down by 9-10 percent. I went from 18 to 9 by just making a phone call. Next call them back 1 week after and get your limit down, down, down.I hope this helps, IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN CASH YOU DON'T GET THE STASH>jeff0 -

i love spending on ANYTHING. i know that its not free money, but its just too easy to use it for anything, a trip to tesco's , jewellery, clothes, dinner. In my mixed up mind I then see my current account and think wow ive got more money in here than i thought and that sets something in my head that says i can then spend that too. because if i use that spare really mine money in my current account to pay off the stuff im racking up on my cc's, then in my mind again im all depressed and i think that reality starts getting in and then i get nervous so i spend. im generally a really happy person and no one would guess that i have these issues. im determined and used to be good but since i got a credit card, i just simply cant be trusted with it. boy that felt good to admit that.0
