Lovely house - next to potential development

We thought it stank a bit, the house is in a cul-de-sac with two houses in the right hand corner that face each other - both have gardens siding onto this bit of land - the land reserved for the development. And Guess what??! Both are up for sale. Both are the only two that have been on longer than 2 months without selling
I totally get the point. I would hate to live next to a car park or warehouse. I'm on a main road at the moment and the fumes in the summer coming into my flat are sickening. and although we commented on how peaceful it was in the garden on a saturday with the store open, it won't be when it extends!0 -

Well yes. But the following day we were sat in the car in the petrol station of that estate looking at the space they had and realised that from where we were looking, "the other way" had 4 roads of houses. But oh look! There's a big unused field at the back!0 -
I would run for the hills, but I m not the one who is emotionally attached to the house!!!
I would go to a 24hour Tesco and sit in my car for a while, See how I would feel if the car was in fact my house!!!! LOL :rotfl:0
