What Have You Spent today 31/3/06?

So far £10 in petrol but plan on taking the kids swimming this afternoon which will cost £8.20  Too much Easter Holiday for them - 4 weeks and this is only their first week!
Have also just put in DH's precious car for a service and that will be a minimum of £380. Expensive day for us. :o

So far I have spent £1.50 on a bagel and orange juice, seriously needed after heavy (free) night out last night. Cab dilemma solved though- company I was out with paid for that too- result!
Got to buy lunch still, will probably have something stodgy again too, will cost about £1.75 from the canteen.
Out at a gig tonight, OH paid for the tickets so will have to buy him a couple of drinks, £10 limit (not even going to take cash card).

I feel so much more in control of my spending, the diary and posting on here has really helped me! Thanks to all of you who keep this going!

£30 on petrol, should last me til halfway through next week! I should live closer to work. (But then OH would have to have a car and pay the same as I do for petrol...)

Other than that, hoping not to spend, night in with OH tonight.

Nothing as yet and hopefully not much :j

Am going swimming so that's 20p for the locker (university pool £20 for a year's membership :T ) and hopefully nothing else.

Am going to friend's house tonight to have a natter whilst I fix her computer so that'll be free except for a little bit of petrol which is already in the car!

Have a good day everyone :D

Did manage to get £8 in £2 coins yesterday though so now up to £38 in £2 which was pleasing :)

I'm buying my lunch today, have been really bad at making my lunch recently :o

Have just done a huge online shop at tesco, £92.22 am hoping it will last the whole month this time! Still got the bogof offers to come off the price and i used a code for extra points.

Looking forward to a very low spend weekend, however i am tempted to buy/hire the new harry potter film............i think i might see if anyone i know has it and would lend me it (DFW nerdiness shining through!!);)

I've been avoiding this thread lately, I've had a bad week with the spending :o

Today I've spent £1.86 on breakfast, have my lunch with me so that's ok. But I'm out tonight and it's looking likely to be expensive - am thinking £40-50 once the taxi's included (wish they'd run the tube all night in the weekends...)

Am out to the theatre tomorrow night, the ticket was paid for months ago so hopefully can make it a relatively cheap night to make up for tonight.

both will be great fun though :)

Egg have paid back the cashback today, so I'm £10.24 up from that! I only signed up for the card last month so am pretty happy about that. (am using it for work expenses I get back anyway, it's all good!)
  • I am hopin for my second non spend day today of the week! Its been a major spending week for me, but am starting to get it back on track. I am working from home today, so no temptation at all! In fact my free pigsback piggy bank came through today so have put all my lovely £2 in. Have also sorted out the flats internet connection, put out my washing and done some work!!!
