Im off for a test drive in 10 mins. I will consider all your opinions during this. Many Thanks - I will let you no how I get on. PS Salesman says most of problems occur with petrol engines and not with diesel
dont forget to check how much it will be to replace the ecuTeamwork means.......never having to take all the blame yourself0 -
Just been for a test drive and 1st impressions were that I liked it.
It didnt rattle at 60mph & wasnt noisy on motorway both of these faults were mentioned to me. Im still worried about the electrics at this seems to be a major fault. There is 2 yrs Renault warranty still on the car.The econmoy regards fuel, comfort, looks and low road tax all appeal to me. OH just rang and asked for a lower price as we have no px but was told no chance, these are a very sought after car and the motor trade has changed. The price on the car windscreen is the price you pay!!! OH not very happy, doesnt like giving in - he is a salesman to, so probably wont even be getting it. I have left it to OH to battle it out!0 -

Tell him he just lost a sale then0 -
The electric window problems is due to the motor getting wet irc, it's a very common fault and if you've not had it yet, it will happen0

Parkers data for a 1.5DCi 5dr Dynamique.
There are quite a few different engine outputs so i plumped for this one at a guess due to low road tax you mentioned.

How do the advised prices look to what the dealer has it up for?

Its priced at £6995 with less than 20 000 miles, so I dont think its overpriced. Its just that there is usually room for haggling when selling a car - but we will have to see0
