Washing Machine- help- any plumbers on this board?

I would advise that you head down to a local independent electrical store that sells washing machines, if you have one, as they should be able to advise you on all this. Even ask at the same time if they think it's worth fixing. IMO, the big chains don't know anything when it comes to appliances.

You should be able to get a decent washer for that kind of money, but fitting the door might be a harder issue! It can be done, but it's just finding someone to do it!

thank you :) i will have to look into it when i pop home next week and see how the current door is screwed on lol.
