Seems like a big jump to say iv not made any claims...
rbs (parent company of DL and churchill) did this to me this year. i didn't even bother getting any other quotes, just called to say it's too expensive, don't want to renew - they came back with a quote that is lower than i am currently paying.
they hope you won't notice and just continue but if you call/complain they do seem to reduce it.Kavanne

Told to me by a DL employee. Never, never accept any DL renewal quote.
Always, go online and get a fresh quote. 99% of the time the new online quote will be cheaper then your renewal. It's the way their system works.
Example. I just got my car renewal for £241, fresh online quote £174. This is the same insurance company, same car, same cover etc0
