Help on best broadband as leaving Talk talk

I was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations on the best broadband to go with. I am currently with talk talk broadband and phone line but the broadband is driving me crazy. keeps cutting out and going really slow.
There are 2 laptops in my house and internet stops at the same time on both of them so i know not wireless cards. I get the feeling that Talk Talk have slowed my connection.
Internet is used a lot in my house so I would like unlimited download.(within reason) I also would like 8mb or more. I have looked through the forum and did think O2 would be great but I dont think I get LLU with O2. according to what I think samknows says, i get LLU for orange, AOL, Sky, TalkTalk, Tiscali. So i was thinking maybe Orange? Have they recieved good reviews on speed and reliability? Anybodys views are welcome.

Orange are presently increasing their prices.

Thanks for that. Well i really dont know the best choice then. I have just heard from someone else saying that orange were very hard to disconnect from. took them weeks to get new internet sorted as orange had done something. hard tiscali aren't good to go with at the moment so that leaves AOL if i want to use LLU, not that i know what that means.0

The problem with speed and reliability is probably more to do with your internal wiring causing interference, bad filters or a fault on your line to the exchange. If so and you change providers you have the same problems with them as you do now. You need to establish if there is a fault and work through a trouble shooting guide. What you should do is register with the talktalk members forums and explain your problems on there. The admins will get to your post relatively quickly, after completing the sticky questions, and they should be able to sort you out. Hi millysg1,
I couldn't agree with the post above more - if you could register at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums and pop up a post we'll be able to see what is going on with the line and hopefully get it resolved for you.
Cheers
