I need to send a cd through the post too. I didnt realise somebody bought a "buy it now" cd from me two days ago.

Im going to send the cd in a plastic wallet as I lost the case, In a A5 envelope which are with-in the dimensions of a normal sized letter.

Do you think I would be able to buy a 1st class stamp and post it as a normal letter? Im just wondering about the weight?

If I send it as a large letter, how many stamps would I need to get to get it to the right price?

thanks for any help, I need to get it in the post today.

I think you would have been too late for it to be collected yesterday - most boxes are cleared fairly early on Saturdays.

I would not be happy sending a CD is a plastic folder unless it was in a padded envelope or with sheets of cardboard around it. Anything over 5mm thick and under 25mm is a large letter. Under 100g 66p / 51p, 100g-250g 96p/ 81p (1st / 2nd).
